What You Will Learn
Students will have the opportunity to attend one of the best universities in Latin America while learning Spanish. The program has a concentration in business Spanish; several visits to companies, as well as lectures, are included in the program.
The City
Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo León, rests in a valley surrounded by the jagged Sierra Madre mountain range. The distinctive Cerro de la Silla (Saddle Mountain) provides a dramatic backdrop for a city that blends the old and new, industry and style, and tradition and efficiency. In December of 1999, Fortune magazine touted Monterrey as “the best place to do business in Latin America." This atmosphere is why many domestic and international corporations are located in Monterrey.
The Campus
Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, better known as Monterrey Tec, is one of the most prominent education centers in Latin America. The Monterrey campus has approximately 18,000 students and offers state-of-the-art facilities, an active student life, and great opportunities to make friends with international students.
